COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A male suspect in a stabbing was in the hospital after being shot by police Tuesday night, reports say. A female victim in the stabbing also was taken to the hospital, according WCMH Channel 4. Neither the suspect nor the victim had life-threatening injuries. Officers were called to the west side of the city at about 10:45 p.m., 10tv.com reports. The suspect was shot by police when refused to drop a knife he was holding, reports say. No officers were injured and the incident remains under investigation. Tuesday's stabbing comes one day after three people were stabbed to death at an apartment complex in Columbus. COLUMBUS, Neb. — A Colorado editor is taking the managing editor post in Columbus. Matt Lindberg will begin his new duties Monday in leading the Columbus Telegram, the David City Banner-Press and the Schuyler Sun, which are owned by Davenport, Iowa-based Lee Enterprises. He replaces Tyler Ellison, who has become a writing specialist for the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Lindberg comes to Nebraska from Montose, Colorado, where he was managing editor of the Montrose Daily Press. He’s worked at newspapers elsewhere in Colorado and in North Carolina. COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Three people were killed Monday in a knife attack at an apartment complex before police shot and killed the male suspect, according to reports. The stabbings occurred just after 9 a.m. Monday at Summit Park Apartments, the Columbus Dispatch reports. Police tell 10tv.com that three female victims were stabbed in a first-floor apartment. Two were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital but died of their wounds. The third woman is in critical condition at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. One of the wounded female victims left the apartment and was found by police in a parking lot with the suspect standing nearby holding a knife, ABC 6 reports. One police officer shot the suspect while another used a Taser on him, reports say. The suspect died at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
