TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A Florida judge sentenced a 21-year-old man to 24 years in prison for killing an Ohio mother and her young daughter in a 2018 traffic crash. Hillsborough Circuit Judge Christopher Nash heard hours of testimony on Thursday before announcing his decision to send Cameron Herrin to prison. At 38, she’s had a variety of professions including stand-up comedian, actor and restaurant server. Through all those years, she has been learning about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which she was diagnosed herself at the age of 12. Explaining that information is something she has done on her YouTube channel since 2016. “Our brains are a piece of equipment we work with every day for everything that we do, so it’s critical to understand it,” she said. She didn’t make the connection between her challenges and her diagnosis, but things changed when she was in her 20s and found herself unable to complete college. She began researching ADHD but had trouble organizing all the information she learned. I-Team: Family Says State Guidelines Kept Elderly Mother Isolated Despite Receiving COVID Shot
BOSTON (CBS) – Phyllis Gurdin was a trailblazer and an activist in her day. Her family says she couldn’t wait to be vaccinated so she could finally see her loved ones. “She got her first vaccine actually on her 87th birthday in January,” said Phyllis’s son, Steven Gurdin.
