DUBLIN, CA — Local artists and art lovers from the East Bay area enjoyed an opportunity to gather on Small Business Saturday at Keypoint Credit Union in Shamrock Village in Dublin. Providing a unique opportunity to shop locally directly from artists and support the local Dublin Arts Collective (DAC) nonprofit at the same time, the Nov. 30 event proved to be successful for all involved. The event was sponsored by KeyPoint Credit Union and jointly organized by DAC VP Sawsan Wolski and Branch Manager Angela Season. With artworks including ceramics, jewelry, paintings, woodturning and encaustics there was a variety of items to choose from. Books by local authors were also included in the display with DAC President, Claudia McCormick being one of the authors. The Hollywood Reporter says that Breaking Bad’s writer and producer, Vince Gilligan, is penning the script for the new two-hour movie, which has the “possible fake/working title of Greenbrier.” The New Mexico Film Office confirmed to The Albuquerque Journal that a project with the title of Greenbrier is slated to shoot in in the region. (CNN)The New York Times Editorial Board called for South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg to disclose his clients from his time at McKinsey, a management consulting firm, in an opinion piece published Thursday evening. The board wrote in the editorial, "Mr. Buttigieg owes voters a more complete account of his time at the company" than the limited information he's provided while campaigning for the Democratic nomination for president. Buttigieg, who worked for the consulting firm from 2007 to 2010, signed a nondisclosure agreement covering his time at the company. She was aware of the NFL’s long resistance to basing a team in Las Vegas, a hub for legal sports gambling.
