The Portland Trail Blazers will be the first to face the Hollywood version of LeBron James and return to Christmas night during the 2018-19 NBA season. The league on Wednesday released its broadcast schedule for Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the opening week of the regular season, and the Blazers will be a part of two marquee matchups. The Blazers will be the first to face James and his new team, the Los Angeles Lakers, when Portland opens the regular season against them at the Moda Center Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. It will be the second game of a TNT double-header that also features the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers.
