SEE IT: Britney Spears suffers wardrobe malfunction during concert in Las Vegas

Britney Spears' latest concert almost turned toxic after she suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage. The pop icon was forced to hold her bra in place after one of the top straps came undone midway through her performance in Las Vegas on Sunday. A backup dancer rushed up behind the "Toxic" singer and attempted to refasten the garment as she performed a cover of "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," but the strap broke loose once again moments after Spears walked away. Another dancer then joined the first and tried to fix the broken lingerie as Spears, 34, continued to sing and dance in place. The strap came undone one more time shortly after while Spears' began her hit "Gimme More." One of her male dancers ultimately just lent his button-down shirt, which she put on mid-song. Spears' might have been thinking "Oops … I did it again" after the outfit issue, considering she's had problems with her elaborate on-stage get-ups in the past. Last year, the zipped-up back portion of Spears' black sheer jumpsuit opened up while she was performing a show on her Las Vegas residency, similarly prompting her backup crew to try to fix it on the fly. Likewise, the back of her dress also popped apart during one of her concerts in December 2013. In every instance, Spears managed to continue performing despite the fashion flub. Spears, who began her Las Vegas residency in 2013, typically performs three nights a week in Sin City. Continue Reading

Hard to tell, though the photos have taken Facebook by storm this morning and may help bury Gloria Steinem's controversial rebuke of female Bernie Sanders supporters. One thing is for sure -- it's all provided plenty of fodder for Lorne Michael's team at SNL. Ouch! Britney Spears loses a chunk of hair while performing on her ‘Circus’ tour

During a concert in Oakland, Calif., Thursday night, Britney Spears left a little of herself behind on the stage. In a sequence where a dancer in an aerial harness lifts a reclining Brit-Brit into the air, one of the singer's blonde locks appears to be torn from her head. Stress? Poor diet? Or just a hair extension with a mind of its own? Whatever the cause, the runaway hair didn't seem to bother the "Circus" crooner. Ever the pro, Britney stayed in character - well, whatever kind of "character" involves writhing on a velvet chaise and then being hoisted into the skies - without so much as a flinch. Check out the hair-raising moment below. Join the Conversation: Continue Reading

Cheers from Britney Spears’ kin

Britney Spears can finally breathe easy: Her shows rocks. At least, her friends and family think so. A nervous Spears, whose “Circus” tour kicks off Tuesday night at the New Orleans Arena, performed 20 tracks for some 30 loved ones Saturday night in NOLA. “Britney was really tense up until the show,” an insider tells us, “but she got such positive feedback that she’s a lot more confident about her performance.” On hand to offer their support was the whole Spears clan, including Brit’s divorced parents, Lynn and Jamie, sis Jamie-Lynn, who toted her baby girl Maddie, and Brit’s own children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. “Jamie and Lynn don’t get along at all, but they behaved,” says our insider. “They’re really rooting for Britney and wanted to make the evening all about her.” All the encouragement is apparently helping: Brit appears to be back in fighting form for her first tour since 2004’s “Onyx Hotel,” “totally killing it” as she sang and danced to hits like “Womanizer,” “Circus,” “I’m a Slave 4 U” and “Toxic.” According to tour insiders, Britney may be getting even more support — and this time it’ll be onstage. “The rumor going around is that Madonna is going to join Brit onstage for at least two tour dates,” says our source. “And that would be totally fierce.” Madge may not have been on hand for Saturday’s trial performance, but that didn’t stop Brit and her posse from enjoying an after-show dinner at pal Rodney Morrison’s estate, where Southern comfort foods like steak, baked fish, corn on the cob and rice were served. During the feast, Britney regaled guests with tales of her sons’ affection for the film “Space Chimps,” as well as discussing her hard-core exercise routine and pride in her newly toned Continue Reading

Britney Spears’ fate spearheads pals’ concern

It's all Britney, all the time these days. A judge decided that little Sean P. and Jayden werebetter off with K. Fed and granted him full custody. (Who woulda thought the words "better off with K. Fed" would ever be uttered in any context?) Here's what the mags are talking about this week ... Friends are worried about Britney Spears' mental state and are speculating that she might be suicidal. Another friend says that this was all a "misunderstanding" and that Britney "is in good spirits and optimistic that she will get her kids back." Well, either someone's wrong or Brit is seriously moody. Either way, the whole thing is just sad. Britney took the first step in following the judge's orders and applied for a California state license. Wait, does that mean that with all the driving "incidents" she has been involved in - the kid on her lap, the fender bender caught on tape, the speeding thing in August - no one ever bothered to ask for her license? It has been about a year since Pamela Anderson's last wedding and you know what that means ... it's time for another one! Her bad boy of choice this time? Rick Salomon... ew. The two obtained a marriage license in Vegas this past week, which means they'll be married by Christmas, divorced by Easter and releasing the sex tape in the fall of '09. Kiefer Sutherland was busted for DUI last week ... his FOURTH DUI-related arrest. Yet, somehow he's still free to make another bad season of "24." Clearly, Paris hired the wrong lawyer. Recently, Posh was quoted as saying, "I eat loads of those bloody American pretzel things. They're so addictive. I think it's all the salt on them." First of all, they're just pretzels. Second of all, c'mon, do they really not have them in England? Apparently, Paris Hilton recently told E! that she wants a take a humanitarian trip to Rwanda next month. She probably followed that statement up with, "You're, like, so totally invited to come with me and like, maybe document Continue Reading

Top 10 pop star stage falls: Madonna, Britney and Jennifer Lopez among superstars to wipe out in concert

Pop stars love to hit the stage — and sometimes the stage hits back. Some of the world’s biggest music artists have wiped out while in concert, with their tumbles immortalized forever on the Internet. With Britney Spears having to cancel a few shows to recover from her recent onstage mishap, here’s a look at the most memorable stage falls, in no particular order. Madonna The Material Girl wiped out in major fashion during her performance of “Living for Love” at the 2015 Brit Awards — but it wasn’t her fault. When Madonna’s dancers tugged at her flowing Armani cape, it didn’t come loose, causing the pop star to tumble backwards and be dragged down a short flight of stairs. Britney Spears Spears has had her fair share of onstage blunders, but her most recent one in April — in which she fell down after rolling her ankle while singing “(You Drive Me) Crazy” — was serious enough that she had to reschedule two shows of her Sin City residency. Jennifer Lopez J.Lo likely regrets using her backup dancers as stepping stones during her American Music Awards performance in 2009. Because when she jumped off the top of her dancer’s back, she didn’t land gracefully on her feet, but instead fell smackdown on her famous “Booty.” Lady Gaga The “Bad Romance” singer had a particularly bad fall involving her piano and some dangerously high heels during a 2011 concert. Gaga was standing with one leg perched on her piano and the other on her piano stool when she lost her balance, tumbling down so spectacularly that her legs flipped into the air. Beyonce Queen Bey has had her fair share of onstage falls, including this epic tumble Continue Reading

Britney Spears cancels shows after fall at Las Vegas concert

Oops, Britney Spears did it again! The pop star took a tumble during her Las Vegas concert on Wednesday night, forcing her to cancel and reschedule her Friday and Saturday shows. The singer took to instagram to share the bad news with her fans.  "After hurting my ankle last night my doctor has advised me not to perfomr this weekend," she wrote. "Your kind words mean everything to me." During her performance of her 1999 hit “(You Drive Me) Crazy,” Spears suddenly fell down after rolling her left ankle. The “Lucky” singer winced in pain as she clutched her ankle, but ever the professional, continued singing while on the ground, before being helped up by her backup dancers to finish the number. “Alrighty then!” Spears told the crowd after the performance. “Sorry about that!” The 33-year-old star assured fans that she was fine after the onstage mishap, tweeting, “Thank you all for the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!” It wasn’t the first time Spears experienced a snafu during her "Piece of Me" residency: The singer’s sequined costume came undone in December 2013, and her hair extensions fell out during a concert just last month.
