The director of “Chicago,” the second-longest-running show in Broadway history, wanted to see the sole remaining member of the opening night cast the next day. It was an unusual request. The cast member, Jeff Loeffelholz, an understudy who in recent years rarely performed, hadn’t met with the director in a long time. The encounter was brief, but, for Mr. Loeffelholz, unsettling. In notes he jotted down and in text messages to a friend, he said that the director had been “brutal” and that the musical director had criticized his performance. Alvidrez Sr., and Dora (Provencio) Alvidrez. Daniel passed away suddenly on March 11, 2018. Danny's passing was so unexpected, and he will be greatly missed by all of his family, particularly his mother, Dora; son, Andrew; daughter, Alea Janosko (Joey); granddaughter, Norah Janosko; fiancé, Gayle Goller; sisters, Gloria Dominguez (Elias), Yolanda Watson (Jim), Barbara Aragon (Abe); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Sr. Danny was a graduate of Tucson High School where he played in the 1971-72 state championship football team. JOHNSON, Donna L. our wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018 at the age of 87. Donna was born and raised in South Dakota, relocating to Tucson in 1968. She was a "stay at home Mom," a very special person who was known and loved for her wonderful sense of humor, her competitive spirit, and her creative talent. Donna is survived by her five children, Darnelle (Richard Goodsell), Gary, Kathleen, Mike, and Karen (John Waugh) who came together as a team to provide care for her when her life was changed by a stroke three years ago. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Ken, who left this earth for his heavenly home eight years ago and has been waiting patiently for his "butterfly" to join him.
