Fox shelved the interview for more than 11 years after public outcry over the revelation that the interviewer, Judith Regan, reportedly paid Simpson $3.5 million for the interview. An interview in which OJ Simpson suggests an accomplice was involved in the murder of his ex-wife is to air on a US network next week. During the interview the former sports star Simpson, who was acquitted of the 1994 murders of his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, discusses how he would hypothetically have committed the murders. The interview was conducted in 2006 but never released due to public outrage as it centred on Simpson's controversial book, If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer in which he theorises about the night of the killings. It has now emerged that during the discussion Simpson suggested he would have used an unnamed accomplice - the first suggestion that the killer may not have acted alone. THE “disturbing” OJ Simpson interview in which he describes how he would have murdered his wife is set to be aired 12 years after being scrapped. Simpson insists he knows the facts of the case "better than anyone" in a preview for the bombshell show, titled: OJ Simpson: The Lost Confession? In 1995, despite being the only suspect, Simpson was acquitted of the double-murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman who were found dead at the former’s Los Angeles home the year prior.
