Sacha Baron Cohen tried to get O.J. Simpson to confess to murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown on the season finale of "Who is America?" "Me and you, we got something in common," Cohen said in character as Gio Monaldo, the rich playboy host of a fake Italian TV show. "We both, how you say, 'ladykillers.'" Simpson laughed and said, "No, I didn't kill nobody." "Ah, I didn't either," Cohen's character replied. E! News reports the former "Borat" star repeatedly tried to get a confession from the former Buffalo Bills footballs tar, who was acquitted of murder in 1995. Cohen introduced Simpson as "an American hero and women's rights activist," but his fake girlfriend didn't recognize the guest even when she brought up his NFL career and "Naked Gun" movies. With the stroke of a pen and the striking of seven words, the President told us everything we need to know about his intentions relative to the investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election. As a result, his effort on Tuesday to ameliorate the Helsinki mess he’d made standing with Vladimir Putin only made matters worse. Where to begin? First, there was the timing. He had ample opportunity to clear up any discrepancy before leaving Finland on Monday, especially where he did interviews with two Fox News’ personalities after the meeting with Putin ended, but before departing for home.
