Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and Record Store Day (which some idiot decided to make on the same day as Black Friday — in addition to the one in April) are faker than any #hashtag holiday out there and driven — obviously — by commerce, consumption and, mostly, corporate greed. But unless you're a Trump tax break–scoring 1 percenter, you want to save money this time of year, so not taking advantage of deals out there is dumb. Scoring huge discounts and cool exclusives and getting exposure to new stores, designers and products that'll make perfect gifts for loved ones is smart. Be smart. Adam Duvernay Delaware News Journal Published 10:10 AM EST Nov 15, 2018 Walking through the rubble of Willey Farms last week, a daughter of the iconic marketplace's founders discovered a butterfly buried in the last of the fire-charred ruins. The butterfly was part of a tin wind chime, and for Gretchen Willey-Gill, it represented much more than a newly discovered piece of debris. "Mom Willey loved butterflies. Like love, love LOVED them," Willey-Gill said on Instagram. Her mom always said that after she was gone, whenever the family saw a butterfly where there shouldn't be one, it would be her saying hello. "I’m so glad you said Hello today Mom," Willey-Gill wrote. Her parents, Donald and Irene Willey, founded Willey Farms 43 years ago. Some of their children now run the market, which burned to the ground on the morning of Nov. 5. This bundle isn't to be confused with the special edition PlayStation 4 Pro that launched alongside Spider-Man back in September.I've spent some hands-on time with Spider-Man and can attest that it lives up to the hype-there's really never been a more delightful Spider-Man game, and it's certainly leaps and bounds ahead of the Atari 2600 version released in 1985 by Parker Brothers (we've a long way in gaming, folks). The $259.99 price is the second-lowest historical price for a slim PS4 bundle - a bundle with National Hockey League 18 was available for $249.96 last Black Friday, but this year's bundle includes a much better game.Microsoft isn't the only major video game console maker offering great deals during Black Friday. This jet-black 1TB standard PS4 system includes a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a physical copy of the critically acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man game from Insomniac Games.
