Former House Speaker Paul Ryan will hold a fundraiser for embattled House GOP Conference chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) at the end of March, an invitation obtained by Breitbart News shows. The fundraiser, a “virtual event,” is slated for Thursday, March 25 at 11 a.m. eastern. The invitation asks donors to give “suggested contributions” of $2,900 to “attend,” or $5,800 to be a “co-host” of the Ryan-Cheney event. Another interesting detail from the fundraising invitation is that the “Liz Cheney for Wyoming” campaign address to which donors are asked to make checks payable to is in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. The fact that Cheney’s campaign is headquartered in the nation’s capital rather than in the state she purports to represent is something her primary challengers will almost surely use against her. The news is significant because Cheney is facing multiple primary challenges after she voted to impeach now former President Donald Trump. Liz Peek: CPAC blasts cancel culture – could the attacks on Dr. Seuss be the tipping point?
close Video Tom Cotton speaks at CPAC: Liberals want to replace our history In his address to the annual CPAC gathering, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., criticizes liberals trying to rewrite history, COVID lockdowns, and the New York Times' meltdown over his op-ed. If I were running against a Democrat in 2022, I would not talk about how Donald Trump ’s policies delivered record-low poverty in the U.S., or Joe Biden’s dangerous and disingenuous $1.9 trillion "rescue" bill. I wouldn’t even rail about the Biden administration locking up children who have entered the country illegally, though it would be tempting, after the hysteria that met President Trump’s immigration policies. No, if I wanted to defeat a Democrat, I’d talk about Dr. Seuss. If you haven’t heard, Dr. Seuss is being canceled . The same boneheads who claim that the "mister" in Mr. Potato Head is overly "exclusive," that Aunt Jemima syrup encouraged racial stereotyping, that math is a … [Read more...] about Liz Peek: CPAC blasts cancel culture – could the attacks on Dr. Seuss be the tipping point?

Dr. Seuss didn’t have ‘a racist bone’ in his body, stepdaughter says
close Video Tyrus slams moves to cancel some Dr. Seuss books Fox Nation host provides analysis on ‘America’s Newsroom.’ One of Dr. Seuss ’ stepdaughters insisted to The New York Post on Tuesday that the world-famous children’s author was no racist — and that she hopes his six controversial kiddie books yanked from publication will be back. "There wasn’t a racist bone in that man’s body — he was so acutely aware of the world around him and cared so much,’’ Lark Grey Dimond-Cates said of her late now-embattled stepdad, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel. The publisher of the Dr. Seuss books, Penguin Random House, announced Tuesday that it will stop selling six of his titles because they "portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong." Dimond-Cates said the publishing house’s arm that oversees his legacy, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, informed her Monday about the decision not to continue printing "If I Ran the Zoo," "And to Think … [Read more...] about Dr. Seuss didn’t have ‘a racist bone’ in his body, stepdaughter says
