A 45-year-old New Jersey man was killed in an early-morning crash on Interstate 676 in Camden after rear-ending a tractor-trailer, authorities said.David Welsh, of West Deptford, struck the truck at 2:56 a.m. less than a mile from the Walt Whitman Bridge, according to State Police. While driving on the eastbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills, a refrigerated tractor trailer was leaking water from the back door – it was like a waterfall, very heavy. I was debating whether to call 911; it was not really an emergency. Then a few miles ahead there was an empty dump truck, which did not have a net on. A Springfield man was killed in an early-morning crash after the van he was driving crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the Massachusetts Turnpike Thursday. State Police said a 2013 Freightliner tractor-trailer was stopped in the middle lane on Interstate 90 westbound around 3:40 a.m. because of construction. A 2017 Ford Transit van, which was also traveling westbound, crashed into the back of the truck. The driver of the van, a 51-year-old Springfield man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 48-year-old man from Chicopee, was not injured. State Police said while the crash remains under investigation, it is believed that the driver of the van did not see that traffic had stopped in front of him and crashed into the truck at highway speed. CHARLES COUNTY • A car slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on Highway 40 (Interstate 64) just east of Route 364, killing the driver of the car, Missouri Highway Patrol officials said.
