Callahan, Staff Writer BUTLER COUNTY — Butler County taxpayers could be impacted if alleged violations at the Butler County Regional Airport are found to be true.Ron Davis, who was fired as the county airport’s manager in April 2017, filed a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration on Sept. 11 and sued the county in April this year. He is making allegations against the commissioners, sheriff, county administrator and others in a lawsuit seeking reinstatement to his job and its $93,710 salary. By Lauren Pack, Staff Writer BUTLER COUNTY — A former Butler County Sheriff’s Office deputy with a criminal past is facing a new charge for allegedly trying to take photos up women’s dresses at a grocery store last month.Dennis James Schiavone Jr., 43, of Trenton, was served this week by sheriff’s deputies for attempted voyeurism in connection with a July 2 incident at the Kroger on Oxford State Road. The charge is a second-degree misdemeanor. “Mr. Schiavone pushed his cart with the cell phone up to the two women in an attempt to film up their dresses,” according to the summons. By Ed Richter, Staff Writer FRANKLIN — A man is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 114 grams of methamphetamine valued at $11,514 during a traffic stop in Butler County. After a drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle, a probable cause search revealed the contraband. Ohio Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man with more than 100 grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle during a recent traffic stop in Butler County. (CONTRIBUTED) The driver, Thomas J. Bill Coley, FBI agents and others is barely a month old, but a magistrate recommends dismissing all claims filed by imprisoned Dynus executive Orlando Carter.United States Magistrate Judge Stephanie K. Bowman has halted all further briefings in the 35-day old case and recommended all claims be dismissed. She stated she was reviewing the lawsuit to determine if it should “be dismissed because it is frivolous, malicious, fails to state a claim upon which relief may be granted or seeks monetary relief from a defendant who is immune from such relief.”Carter filed the lawsuit from the federal prison in Ashland, Ky., on June 7.
