There is, rightly, much celebration and online praise about Beyoncé’s cover of, and words within, Vogue. In the much-hallowed September issue of the magazine, the superstar speaks, in moving, inspirational extended captions, about race, racism, body positivity, motherhood, her legacy, and raising her children to be open-minded and open-hearted (“They can explore any religion, fall in love with any race, and love who they want to love”). Beyoncé also looks stunning, and speaks powerfully about the importance of this cover of the famed September Issue—it has taken 126 years for a black photographer to shoot a cover for the magazine. It looks … [Read more...] about Breitbart and Infowars Become President Trump’s New Media Establishment

I said, "You're already president, Mr. President. You were elected." He said, "I'd still like your endorsement." I have a recording of the phone call. It's so sad. Donald Trump is done. He couldn't get elected dogcatcher in New York, his hometown. I was very very nice about it. Very nice. But New Yorkers love dogs and he does not. There are 14 recorded instances of … [Read more...] about The art of the pejorative
