Russia is open to a proposal for President Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk to have an open conversation via the new social media app Clubhouse, the Kremlin announced Monday. On Saturday, Musk , the richest man in the world, tagged Putin’s office on Twitter, asking, “would you like join me for a conversation on Clubhouse?” In Russian, the Tesla CEO added, “It would be a great honor to speak with you.” “In general, this is of course a very interesting proposal, but we need to understand what is meant, what is being proposed… first we need to check, then we will react,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Monday, according to Reuters . “We want to figure it out first. Chants of “Shame on NBC” and “Antisemitism isn’t funny” rang out in front of NBC Studios in Manhattan on Saturday night, as protesters gathered in response to what organizers called an anti-Semitic joke made by Saturday Night Live cast member Michael Che made on the show one week ago. “Anti-Semitism is not funny,” chanted protesters, who are demanding an apology from NBC for disseminating a series of anti-Semitic jokes, the most recent one being on SNL last week. NBC and Michael Che have been facing backlash for a joke the comedian told last week on SNL , in which he said, “Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population. It’s hard to pinpoint the moment when the “I’m okay, you’re okay” philosophy of the seventies morphed into the “I’m okay, you’re not” thinking of the present day.  Back in the seventies, everyone smoked cigarettes, wore ugly polyester, ate Twinkies, and told cringe-worthy jokes. Nobody was in a position to judge. Now our betters know better how best to behave. Through virtue signaling, shaming, de-platforming, censoring, and outright coercion they intend to make others change their unacceptable views and ways. Take the Healthy Kid Meal Ordinance before the Aurora City Council which would foist new regulations on how restaurants advertise children’s meals, for example.
