The Health Department says new cases range in age from two months to 95 years with a median age of 31 years. The county-wide death toll stands at 1,828. By: KDKA-TV News Staff HARRISBURG (KDKA) — The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 5,060 new Coronavirus cases and 44 additional deaths. READ MORE: Pennsylvania Woman Among Cases Of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Blood Clots This brings the statewide total to 1,092,852 cases and 25,566 total COVID-19 related deaths since the pandemic began. There are 2,580 people across the state in the hospital with COVID-19 and 542 patients are in ICUs. The state says 6,736,568 vaccine doses have been administered so far, and 2,555,581 people are fully vaccinated. All Pennsylvanians 16 or older are eligible to get vaccinated. The Biden administration, with Planned Parenthood ally Xavier Becerra at the helm of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced Wednesday its plans to reverse the Trump administration’s Protect Life Rule, which created a clear boundary between abortion and family planning. The announcement of the proposed rule, titled “Ensuring access to equitable, affordable, client-centered, quality family planning services,” said HHS intends to return to the Title X family planning regulations first enacted by the Clinton administration in 2000: HHS proposes to revise the rules issued on March 4, 2019 (84 FR 7714), establishing standards for compliance by family planning services projects authorized by Title X of the Public Health Service Act.
