The 2018 NBA Draft is finally here and the trade rumors are heating up. There are a lot of discussions surrounding prospects Luka Doncic and Michael Porter Jr. and where they might land. While Doncic could go between picks 2-5, Porter Jr. could easily slide down the draft boards. If the latter of that statement is true, there could be multiple teams willing to trade up for him. He surely knew that without Gordon Hayward, the Celtics had no shot at winning the ultimate prize in June and dethroning Golden State. But with a healthy Irving, a healthy Hayward, and Kawhi Leonard the Celtics would be a legit threat to disrupt this … [Read more...] about Kawhi Leonard Celtics Sixers NBA trade rumors: Boston versus Philly

The Celtics have the 27th pick in the 2018 draft, which takes place at 7 p.m. EST on June 21 in Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center. Currently, Boston doesn’t have a second-round pick. The last draft in which Boston made only one selection was 2013, when Lucas Nogueira was taken 16th and immediately traded for Kelly Olynyk). The picks Had the Celtics not made the Kyrie Irving trade, Ainge would once again possess a lottery pick as a result of the famous (or, if you’re a Brooklyn fan, infamous) Garnett-Pierce deal from 2013. Instead, Celtics draft assets consist of a singular pick in 2018, with a series of contingencies for the … [Read more...] about Here are the picks and players the Celtics could use in a trade
