From the shores of Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City stargazers set up telescopes and captured images Sunday night of the total lunar eclipse. About 75 members of the Oklahoma City Astronomy Club gathered at Windsurfer's Point on the northeast side of the lake to watch the eclipse. Partly cloudy skies didn't obscure the view. Club member Maurice Massey used a cellphone to capture the images seen in his telescope. He could see details such as the craters on the moon as the eclipse started about 9:30 p.m. "I can align it (telescope) just right to where the camera will focus on the image in the telescope eyepiece. You can get some pretty good shots this way," he said. Mike Brake, astronomy club president, said the eclipse started about 9:30 p.m. and lasted about two hours.
