A 90-year-old man who was killed by a car in southeast Brooklyn on Thursday night was a Holocaust survivor who went through the infamous Dachau concentration camp, reports said. Nissen Krakinowski was leaving Congregation Beit Hillel in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn, where he went daily to pray for his daughter who recently passed, when he was struck by a 29-year-old woman driving a Jaguar, according to police and The Yeshiva World. He was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after. Krakinowski was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk. The driver stayed at the scene and was not charged. A Brooklyn investment group has purchased a large industrial warehouse and distribution complex adjacent to the Scajaquada Expressway and just behind the Monarch 716 student housing complex on the West Side. The buyers–- 2225 East 7 Properties and JEMF Buffalo Industrial – paid $3.6 million to acquire five separate properties and two facilities from Buffalo Niagara Business Park, based in Los Angeles. The properties, totaling 10.3 acres, are located at 40 Bradley St., 120 Dart St. and 66 Danforth St. The seller is owned by Industrial Realty Group, a privately held real estate development and investment firm that buys, develops and manages both commercial and industrial real estate nationwide. The company, whose president and CEO is Stuart Lichter, manages more than 150 properties in 28 states, with more than 100 million square feet of rentable space. A 28-year-old man shot dead during a fight on a Brooklyn street early Saturday was a member of the violent Trinitarios gang, police sources said. The victim, whose name was not released, died after being rushed to Jamaica Hospital after the 4 a.m. shooting on Grant Avenue near Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, according to police. The Trinitarios are the gang blamed for the Bronx mistaken-identity stabbing slay in June of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, 15.
