Gov.-elect Kevin Stitt received congratulations from President Donald Trump on his November election victory during a Thursday meeting at the White House. "That was a great victory. Great job," Trump told Stitt as he introduced himself inside the Cabinet Room. Stitt was one of 13 newly elected governors to meet with Trump in a meeting that included Vice President Mike Pence and other members of the president's staff and cabinet. Stitt sat four chairs to the president's left during a meeting that included discussions on infrastructure, supporting veterans and military families, Opportunity Zones, and combating the opioid crisis. It was telling that he didn’t go to him earlier.Less than two minutes into the third quarter, Jerami Grant had picked up his fifth foul, but Donovan instead went to Dennis Schroder, opting to play small by sliding Paul George to power forward.
