Former Vice President Joe Biden holds a 5-point lead over Sen. Elizabeth Warren among New York Democratic voters seven months before the state’s 2020 presidential primary.Biden (22%), Warren (17%) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (15%) have emerged as the front-runners among New York Democrats, according to the Siena College poll published today. The three have opened a wide early lead in New York over Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who had the support of 4%, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., who is favored by 3%, the poll found. A suicide bomber on a motorcycle targeted a campaign rally by President Ashraf Ghani in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday, killing at least 24 people and wounding 31, officials said. Ghani was present at the venue but was unharmed, according to his campaign chief.Just hours later, an explosion struck near the U.S. Embassy in Kabul but details on that blast were not immediately known.No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks. Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s outspoken former campaign manager, is scheduled to appear Tuesday to discuss the report by former special counsel Robert Mueller.
