   No Pairing makes it simple.. I walk into the kitchen or bathroom, set my phone on the speaker, start what ever app I want to listen to and walk away. The sound is very good for the price.

   High end packaging. The unit is well built and solid. Has a real feeling of quality. Sound quality is "ok"… I have small bluetooth speakers at a fraction the cost that sound better. That being said, this thing is really cool. Not having to pair anything to it is really handy. You just set your phone on top of the unit and it amplifies the sound electronically. The position, quality of the phones speaker, and volume of the phone really affects the sound output. After some experimentation with my Note 4 I as able to get fairly decent sound out of it. Do not expect any booming bass or anything like that, but it is passable for those who are not true audiophiles. Where this unit really shines is speaker conference calls. With your phone on hands free you just set it on the unit and it amplifies the callers voice loud and clear. I am not sure how this works exactly but it does. Really neat concept, just lacking a little sound quality. I received this speaker at a discount for a honest assessment and review.

   UPDATE! After playing with this speaker a bit more, I have some observations to share. As for the sound, the trick is to start at your lowest volume. I believe this speakers volume tops out and then the sound deteriorates. I was amazed at how low the volume was on my phone having it produce so much sound. You control the volume based on how loud your phone speaker is, so set it on the unit correctly, and bring up the volume until it reaches the level you would like. Sound quality is also dependent on the position of the phone. There is a handy guideline to approximate where the bottom of the phone should be, however, it is sized for your average phone and not a Note 4 like mine or a Iphone 6 plus, therefore mine does not sit as nicely on the speaker as a smaller phone would. Still, this speaker is turning out to be a great addition to the household. My wife uses it in the AM when getting ready for work and she said she really likes not having to bluetooth pair every morning. She just starts the music player on her phone and sets the phone on the speaker. I have been using it for conference calls rather than the straight speaker phone and it is much easier to hear and understand what the person on the other end is saying. Right now I am listening to some techno music with a wide range of tonality and while I have heard much better sound, this is still pretty good. Again, you just need to bring the volume up after setting the speaker down as opposed to raising the volume on the phone and then setting it down. Esthetically? Absolutely beautiful, in my opinion. It is no wonder the design itself won a award.

   Bento Induction Speakers:
   PROS:
   -Very sophisticated design; from the shipment, the box and to the product itself, hands down as it really looks beautiful
   -No need for a Bluetooth; because of the induction, I just put my phone in the platform and works well
   -Volume controls came from your phone if you are using your phone.
   -Great to carry anywhere, with or without electricity, just make sure it is charged well. The size is not so bulky so great to bring anywhere with you even in the shower.

   Cons:
   -I am disappointed with the sound quality, I felt like my other Bluetooth devices have better crisp sound than this
   -Sound is much better depend on the device you used, laptop sound is better than phone sound
   -Price wise, I felt that it is not very reasonable however the hardware is really good and perfect

   this works great, the sound is amazing and it is so easy, no more connecting or waiting just drop and play…GREAT GIFT TOO
