This figure is one of my favorites in the Sailor Moon S.H. Figuarts line-up. Tuxedo Mask’s coloring is perfectly executed and there have been no defects with the joints, arms, or legs (like there was with my Sailor Uranus). Changing his face is completely different from that of the Sailor Scouts. You actually remove his whole head instead of just the face itself. The boxing is rather large compared to the Sailor Scouts and thankfully had a masculine look to fit his style.

Tuxedo Mask タキシード カメン is a fantastic addition to the series set. This genuine figure looks far better in display than the online pictures can show. TOEI’s manufacturer did a tremendous job in nearly every detail, that you can get in a masked man wearing a tux 🙂 Honestly, this is a great rendition of the series male hero figure. All the extra pieces allow a great deal of flexibility when setting up a diorama or just a standard display of the set. Standing next to Usagi / Sailor Moon セーレームーン, it’s as close to the manga as you’re going to get for now. Excellent detail and construction. Be sure to ask the seller if the box has the TOEI sticker and Bluefin label to make sure you’re getting the genuine figure.
This figure, like all the other Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts figures, is all around just awesome, It’ll make a cool display along with the other sailor moon figures, i am almost done with my collection this are a must for any fan!

For those of us who grew up with Sailor Moon, I think we all had a little crush on Tuxedo Kamen. I was really excited about this toy, and it didn’t disappoint. Great accessories, really well made and great attention to detail. It comes with its own stand and has a lot of joints for articulation. It’s a must have for your Sailor Moon collection.
I LOVE that these figures have been manufactured! I have my Tuxedo Mask posed romantically with my Sailor Moon. He’s so tall!

Loving it! He’s a lot bigger than the other Sailor Moon figures. Also when the Cape is attached, he gets super heavy. Other than that, he’s perfecr! Colors and material are fantastic! Brings back all the memories and love for Tuxedo Mask!

Super great figure. No damage on box. He’s a bit difficult with the head swapping but isn’t sellers fault. Overall lovely addition to the collection. I’m super happy he can be with Usagi. It’s a legit figure, had the sticker and everything.
Wow. Tuxedos Kamen is fabulous! I woukd usually skip male characters and leave them for last but Usagi needed her future King! Articulation is on point. A few minor ones include; Minimal to no ankle movement and no ab crunch. Which is all understandable since his suit pants pass his heels. Also, i wasn’t expecting his cape to be hard plastic. I took extreme caution to not drop nor bend the three pieces. I feel soft plastic would’ve been a better choice. The cape also makes him back heavy. If the one of the joints in the stand is loose, he’ll topple over. All in all, his very gorgeous and anime accurate. Fantastic leading man!

As a figure collector I can say I’m relatively pleased with this figure but there are a few things holding it back from being great. The articulation is fine though not anything particularly impressive which it really doesn’t have to be as most people probably won’t look to pose him in anything crazy anyway. He comes with a multitude of really great accessories such as the rose, a cane, the cape, interchangeable hands and a few interchangeable head and faces just in case you want to pose him as Darien. The gripes I run into with this figure is the pegs for the hands, the head and the articulation for the cape. The peg for the head piece at least on my figure is pretty loose and it came that way out of the packaging, I think it may be due to the positioning of the peg hole in the head being so far back OR it could just be a specific manufacturing flub in my particular figure so it’s not anything to be SUPER worried about as it doesn’t affect poseabillity that much it’s just kind of annoying. My BIGGEST problem comes from the hands and the pegs not being flush with his suit. It looks rather odd to me almost like the hands aren’t pegged in all the way BUT they are. It’s not very aesthetically pleasing to say the least. The last gripe and probably the least troublesome of them all is the cape. the cape honestly isn’t bad when it’s folded down but there’s so many gaps and spaces and since it doesn’t really overlap all that well it’s easy to see them when posing the figure in any kind of stance when the cape is stretched out. The cape also does make the figure quite a bit heavier and honestly could have probably been designed of a softer plastic and it would have looked a bit better. It’s not anything major but I think had the piece of the cape overlapped a bit more it would have been better looking all around.
Still this is not a figure I would tell anyone to stay away from as it is a pretty neat looking figure and if you’ve already got Sailor Moon in your collection you simply can’t be without her top hat wearing masked beau.
This Figure is well detailed. As a Tuxedo Mask fan this figure gets an A+ from me. I am surprised that even though this figure is based on the 90’s anime Tuxedo mask. The figure can pose for the manga attack. "Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber". If you are Tuxedo Mask fan, this is a good figure to have.
My item box was torn. As a collector condition is everything. The figure itself was okay.
the quality of figures just keeps getting better with every new sailor moon edition but please be cautioned that the cape makes him too heavy for the stand, or at least very difficult to pose. i never liked the quality of the stands that came with any of my figuarts besides the cute design on the plate.
Tuxedo mask is a great figure in the bandia tamashii line. Its pretty cool he can hold sailormoon to actually recreate moments from the show. His joints are not stiff, the cape moves in 3 places and connects into the stabd he comes with. I give it an A plus
He’s a pretty cool figure. I like that the joints are strong enough that he can actually hold the Sailor Moon figure in his arms. This cape is really neat to since you can move it into different positions for similar looks like he has it in the series. The accessories he comes with are amazing. I absolutely love the Star Locket.
Tuxedo Mask is a welcome addition to the Figuarts line! I have every figure in this line that has been released so far and he looks great with them, especially the Sailor Moon. His accessories are also great as they really fit with the character. This figure is a must for any fan. I will offer a word of caution to anyone looking to get this, or any other yet to be released figure, from Amazon though. I had been hoping for a Tuxedo Mask figure in this line since the beginning, so I preordered him as soon as he became available on here, like I have with every other Sailor Moon Figuarts. I get a surprise message form Amazon six months later saying that they have gone out of stock and don’t know when/if they’ll be getting anymore in. This is the second time this has happened with a Sailor Moon S.H. Figuarts figure, the first being with Sailor Saturn. I understand that this is a collectible figure, which is why I placed a preorder on day one. I canceled my order for this, and the three other yet to be released figures available in this line, and placed one with another well known collectibles store instead. Amazon may have free shipping, but it’s definitely worth the extra money to know that I will actually get a figure I preordered when it releases. After this experience, I no longer have faith in Amazon when it comes to these figures.
I own several SH Figuarts figures and I can tell that Bandai is certainly stepping up their game in terms of joint articulation as well as face plate design. I can also tell that SHF is somewhat adopting Figma’s design which is a good thing.
I never watched the Sailor moon anime but this figure looks so cool; he also comes with plenty of accessories. This is a good buy for action figure collectors.
