Need one for EACH of the house lamps so never a ‘surprise’ with power outages.
Came in handy with the hurricanes
This is an excellent product. It is very simple to hook it onto your existing lamp. When the power goes out, it comes on full glow. Recently I lost power in my apartment on and off for about 10 minutes and each time it went off, the lamp came on then went off when power back on. It lights up the whole room. I got two; one for my living room and one for my bedroom. they are a little pricey but I am one of those people who cannot see a thing in the dark and just having a flashlight doesnt do it for me as everything around me i s dark and I just plain do not like the dark (it’s a good thing I wasnt born in the 1800’s!). If you lose power like for os many hours it will keep glowing for proabaly at least 7-8 hours.
