Kim Dao and her now-husband Eric, both aged 29, made sure their special day was magical in every way after saying ‘I do’ during their enchanting nuptials in a secret garden ceremony in Perth on Saturday, January 18, 2020. The couple – who met at the University of Western Australia 10 years ago – got engaged outside Hogwarts Castle at Japan’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in 2018. And so it was no surprise the pair, who now lives in Sydney, wanted to include subtle elements from their all-time favourite J.K. Rowling novels in their reception at the Crown Towers Grand Ballroom.
