The In the past few years, Quang Ninh Province has focused on growing science-technology and applying information technology to create a strong foundation for its sustainable and fast development. In the opening speech, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Province People’s Committee Dang Huy Hau stated that this conference is a necessity when many regions nationwide are carrying out their own project to develop a smart city along with the digital transformation process, as instructed by the central government and the Ministry of Information and Communications. According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), the appearance of cutting edge technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, big data, and blockchain has allowed people to accelerate digital transformation more conveniently.
