Adam Duvernay Delaware News Journal Published 11:04 AM EST Feb 12, 2019 Wilmington police on Tuesday announced the arrest of four people they say were stealing from parked cars in January. The three separate theft cases spanned Jan. 10-22 and included suspects between the ages of 15-60, police said. Jan. 10 Wilmington police were investigating a the theft of computer equipment and saw a suspect on surveillance footage. Officers “tracked the suspect’s movements prior to the theft,” according to police, and identified 60-year-old William McNair as the suspect. Wilmington police called McNair a “habitual offender.” He was charged with theft and criminal mischief before he was released. Jan. 12 When officers were flagged down in the 600 block of North Orange Street, Wilmington police said they were told children were breaking into cars on that block.  Wilmington officers found two 15-year-old boys who ran from them, police said. Both were arrested, but only one was charged with theft and the other with conspiracy. Jan. 22 Wilmington officers heard a car alarm in the 300 block of North Shipley Street and saw 39-year-old Bear resident Urian Fisher ransacking a Jeep, city police said.  Fisher was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing and released.
