Police on Friday arrested the man wanted for critically injuring a man in the Bronx in a savage attack caught on video, authorities said. Nilson Castillo, 22, was picked up around 1:30 p.m. for pummeling a 38-year-old man to the pavement on Sunday near West 183rd Street and Aqueduct Avenue, cops said. He was charged with two counts each of robbery and assault. Surveillance footage of the brutal assault shows Castillo briefly chatting with his victim before laying into him, delivering one blow after the other as his victim falls against a parked car and attempts to defend himself. Castillo keeps going — even after the man falls to the ground — before grabbing his headphones and running off. The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition with trauma to his head and neck.
