Police in Harwich and the Cape Cod Regional Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating a single-car crash that took the life of a female driver Saturday morning. In a news release, Harwich police said the woman was killed when the car she was driving struck a utility pole at the intersection of Long Pond Drive and Oak Street in Harwich just before 2 a.m. The car continued on after the pole strike and rolled over. The Boston Globe reported the victim was 24-years-old. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation, police said. The name of the victim has been withheld pending notification of family.
