Sure, you can text the other agent to request a showing appointment, clarify whether the sellers will be there, ask if there are any dogs or cats you need to be aware of, and see if they already have any offers on the house. She’ll text you back and confirm or re-schedule the appointment, let you know that the sellers will need to take Jasper the pit bull off site before you arrive, and ask you to turn off the lights when you leave. You can even ask where the lock box is located, even though that information is in the multiple listing service. Who has time to look at all those details when you can just text the other agent and get your answer pretty much immediately? You can text the showing agent back to see how it went.
