The junior, who has battled right shoulder problems the past month, got the nod for the second straight week after guiding No. 24 MSU to a win over Maryland last Saturday. MSU also has sophomore Kevin Jarvis back starting at right guard, while David Beedle is dressed for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury against Northwestern. The Spartans also have LJ Scott in uniform, though the senior running back did not start and stood back from the offense during pregame warmups. Wide receiver Laress Nelson also is back after missing the past three games. The only MSU player of note not in uniform is cornerback Josh Butler, who is sitting out his fifth straight game.
