Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop is hosting a series of community meetings in each of the city’s six wards to discuss issues that are important to residents there. Fulop will take questions and department directors will also be on hand to answer questions from community members. Fulop will also provide a brief update on city initiatives happening in each ward and there will be a short presentation from the U.S. Census representatives. The series, which kicked off last week in Ward A, will continue next week in Ward B. Here is the schedule of meetings: Nov. 17, 10 a.m. — Ward B: Chaplain Charles Watters School 24, 220 Virginia Ave. Nov. 28, 6:30 p.m. — Ward C: Franklin L. Williams Middle School 7, 222 Laidlaw Ave. Dec. 1, 10 a.m. — Ward D: Christa McAuliffe School 28, 167 Hancock Ave. Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. — Ward E: Council Chambers, City Hall, 280 Grove St. Dec. 8, 10:00 a.m. — Ward F: Mary McLeod Bethune Life Center, 140 Martin Luther King Drive.
