Commemorate veterans’ sacrifices Veterans Day is certainly one to celebrate and embrace. These brave men and women have served our country and provided us with the possibility to live freely, speak freely, engage in commerce and in self-determination. They fought for this right and need to be recognized and appreciated. What is also noteworthy, as opposed to Memorial Day, these heroes are alive and can tell their stories and give us a sense of the sacrifices made.
