Brian Calloway Lansing State Journal Published 3:34 PM EST Nov 10, 2018 LANSING – The regional has marked the end of the road for the DeWitt football team the last two seasons. Tyler Warren helped make sure that wouldn’t be the case again for the No. 2-ranked Panthers. Warren returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown while setting the tone and also had a receiving touchdown in a dominant showing for DeWitt, which captured its first regional title since 2013 with a 42-7 victory over Farmington . The Panthers (12-0) led 15-0 before their offense even took the field thanks to Jace Preston, who returned an interception for a touchdown to end Farmington’s opening drive. It was that kind of day for DeWitt, which led 42-0 at the half and kept Farmington off the scoreboard until there was just under two minutes left. DeWitt moves on to face Detroit King in a state semifinal next weekend. Contact Brian Calloway at [email protected] Follow him on Twitter @brian_calloway.
