Arizona State will be without leader in sacks for 1st half vs. Oregon

November 10, 2018 oregonlive Leave a Comment

Arizona State will be without its leader in sacks for the first half against Oregon next week. Sun Devils linebacker Merlin Robertson, a freshman who is second on the team with 59 tackles entering Saturday, was called for targeting for a hit on UCLA quarterback Wilton Speight in the third quarter. The call was confirmed and Robertson, who has eight tackles for loss and an interception this season, was ejected and will have to miss the first half against Oregon next week. ASU lists Tyler Johnson (26 tackles) as the backup to Robertson. — James Crepea | [email protected] | @JamesCrepea
