Alabama fans were giddy Saturday night when Jalen Hurts entered the game for the No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide against Missouri. And, that was before the play. The Tide, up 10-3, called an end around to Hurts – with Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback – who reversed field and threw to running back Damien Harris. Before Alabama fans could finish cheering for that play, Tagovailoa hit Hurts – who was lined up as a slot receiver – for a 7-yard gain. Mark Heim is a sports reporter for The Alabama Media Group.
