A bicyclist was killed following a collision with a car in Harding Township on Friday afternoon, police reported. The 54-year-old Millington cyclist, whose name was not released, was traveling north on Lees Hill Road shortly after 3 p.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound made a left turn in front of the cyclist as the driver prepared to turn onto Long Hill Road. The vehicles collided and responding township police officers rendered first aid. Paramedics arrived and transported the cyclist to Morristown Medical Center, where the victim was pronounced dead, police said. Police believe sun glare may have been a factor in the crash. No charges have been announced. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of family. Matt Gray may be reached at [email protected] Follow him on Twitter @MattGraySJT.
