A 69-year-old woman from Buffalo’s Polonia neighborhood told police a juvenile relative has stolen more than $2,000 from her and another relative’s bank accounts. The woman said the thefts started in June from KeyBank accounts shared among the three relatives. She told police that there are several of these linked bank accounts but only one is in the name of the girl the woman has accused of stealing from her. She told police that the girl knows she is not allowed to take money from the other accounts. The girl is accused of taking $2,000 from one relative and $60 from the woman who reported the alleged thefts. The woman told police she’s trying to get the girl, whose age was not provided, into the Persons in Need of Supervision, or PINS, program.
