File photo On Sept. 11 an officer stopped a car for speeding in a school zone. A computer check also indicated the driver was wanted in Michigan for child neglect. The warrant was confirmed and the 33-year-old Rocky River man was arrested. He was also cited for speed and expired license plates. Theft, Westgate: On Sept. 12 a Lowe’s manager reported the theft of a pressure washer, the second time in two days. The suspect left the store through the garden center without paying for the pressure washer, valued at $500. Similar items are also being stolen from the Avon Lowe’s. Trespassing, Lake Road: On Sept. 13 residents reported a woman entered their condominium without permission. Officers believe the woman abandoned the attempted burglary when she discovered the residents were home. The suspect left in a blue Ford Escape with a burnt out or broken tail light.
