North Jersey Record Published 10:39 PM EDT Oct 13, 2018 The Boston Red Sox will be without their manager for the rest of Game 1 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros. Alex Cora was arguing balls and strikes against Andrew Benintendi from the dugout at Fenway Park when home plate umpire James Hoye tossed him after the bottom of the fifth inning. Cora was ejected in just one game during the regular season. Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly then hit Alex Bregman, the first batter of the sixth inning, with a 100-mph fastball. But Bregman went to first base without incident. Kelly was checked out by trainers, but remained in the game.
