Three people were taken to two area hospitals after a two-car collision Friday between a Galloway Township ambulance squad vehicle and a car on Chris Gaupp Drive in Galloway Township, police said. At about 8:18 p.m. Friday, a Galloway Township ambulance squad vehicle, operated by Raymond J. Adams, 46, of Pleasantville, with Stacey M. Rodenas, 31, of Galloway Township, as a front-seat passenger, was headed north on Chris Gaupp Drive, police said. A 2006 Saturn Ion, being operated by Sandra L. Cona, 76, of Turnersville, Gloucester County, exited the parking lot for 436 Chris Gaupp Drive into the travel path of the Galloway Township ambulance squad vehicle, police said. The vehicles collided in front of 436 Chris Gaupp Drive. Adams and Cona were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division, for non-life threatening injuries, police said. Rodenas was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, also for non-life threatening injuries, police said. Chris Gaupp Drive was closed between Garfield Drive and Route 30 for about 1 hour, police said. All parties involved were wearing seatbelts. Cona was charged with careless driving and failure to yield to the right of way of other vehicles, police said. Along with the police, the Galloway Township ambulance squad and the AtlantiCare paramedics were on the scene.
