GOP lawmaker says House Intel. Committee will be able to show “the CIA just got it wrong” on Russia collusion

U.S. Russia Probe House Intelligence Committee Donald Trump A Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee has commented the panel will be able to show that the CIA “just got it wrong” on alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. Chris Stewart made the comment following the committee’s Monday announcement that a draft report of their findings is at odds with U.S. intelligence agencies’ view of Russia’s attempt to interfere in the election “with respect to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s supposed preference for candidate Trump.” In an interview with CNN on Monday night, Stewart said: “I have spent a couple days out to the CIA actually reading the raw intelligence; actually reading what we were basing this on.
