Louisville Metro Police First Division officers responded to a call of a person down inside a vehicle around 5:30 a.m., according to a statement from police spokesman Dwight Mitchell, in the 200 block of S. 28th Street. Officers at the scene found a man dead at the scene who had been shot multiple times. The police department’s homicide unit is investigating and no suspects have been identified as of Saturday morning. This story will be updated.
