Radio host Herman Cain accused the media of playing into North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un’s “warfare on the minds of the American people.”
“The media is inciting fear, frustration, and anxiety among the American people which is playing into Kim Jong Un’s what you call mental warfare,” Cain told “Fox & Friends” on Saturday.
“He is playing warfare on the minds of the American people when in fact we are in a better position to defend ourselves.”
President Trump earlier this week laid down the line with North Korea, saying the country will receive “fire and fury” and will “regret it fast” if it “acts unwisely.” America’s defenses are “locked and loaded” against the dictatorship, the president warned.
“Locked and loaded” simply means that all the United States’ resources are on 24-hour alert, Cain said.
“The liberal media freaked out because the president can say anything and they’ll freak out over it,” he added. “I agree with ‘locked and loaded.'”
Cain opined that even if a conflict did break out between the U.S. and North Korea, it would not last long.
“They’re putting nearly everything that they have into their ambition for ballistic missiles,” he said, arguing that the country would run out of resources quickly.
“We’ve got the best military on the planet,” Cain said.
