It’s the Fort Collins-based craft brewer’s 10th straight year being recognized by the magazine. New Belgium has about 720 employees across the country, including about 400 based in Colorado. The company offers an employee profit sharing plan and has a complimentary on-site medical clinic in Fort Collins for its workers and their dependents. New Belgium is the country’s fourth-largest craft brewery. Last year, the company sold 950,752 barrels of beer — distributing to all 50 states. Outside Magazine determines its annual list with a two-part employee survey process evaluating each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The winning companies are those that value productivity in combination with an active, eco-conscious lifestyle, for a fulfilling experience inside and outside the office, the magazine states.
